A reboot of The Crow has been in the works for over a decade, and was first confirmed in December 2008. However, the current Sanders-Baylin iteration of The Crow reboot with Bill Skarsgård as Erik Draven was first announced in March 2022, with filming starting in July the same year. Distribution rights were acquired by Lionsgate in 2023 (via Deadline).
The Crow Reboot Release Date
Lionsgate has set a 2024 release window for The Crow reboot, although a specific release date has yet to be announced. However, given the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, and the fact there’s been no early footage or tease as of September 2023, a mid-late 2024 release date for the new The Crow movie seems most likely.
