EBS에서 해주는 마이클 샌델 <정의> 강의는 한번도 못 봤는데,
오늘 BBC 사이트를 뒤적거리다가 BBC에서 만든 마이클 샌델의 다큐멘터리 하나를 봤습니다.
강의 시리즈는 길고 지루한 감이 있을 듯해서 안 봤는데, 이건 집중해서 보게 되네요.
보면서 여러가지 생각을 했는데, 다 보고나니..
동아시아에서는 '정의'가 어떤 것이였을까?
옛사상이 지금도 우리에게 영향을 끼치고 있을까요?
식민지배를 전후로 예전의 사상은 폐기되고 서양의 철학을 받아들여 새로운 사회를 만들었는데도 여전히? 지금 사회에 예전의 철학은 전혀 쓸모가 없을까요?
그런 궁금증이 생겨납니다.
결론은 무척 재밌어요. 특히 자라나는 중고딩 어린이들에게 꼭 보여주고 싶은 생각이 마구마구! 설날에 사촌 동생들 잡아놓고 강제 관람이라도 시킬까요.ㅎㅎ
Justice: A Citizen's Guide to the 21st Century

덕분에 bbc 라디오를 못 들어서 요즘 삶이 참 우울합니다....
